ITC is planning to set up up an integrated consumer goods manufacturing and logistics hubat Panchla approximately 35 kilometres from Kolkata. The company will initially manufacture packaged foods which will be followed by other consumer goods. As of January 2012, the company has been allotted nearly 40 acres at Panchla by the state government for setting up the plant.
