JSW Energy has reported progress on its 240 MW hydropower project at Kutehar in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. The project, promoted by Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Boardwas awarded to JSW Energy on BOT basis in 2007. The 'run of the river' project would be set up on the river Ravi. As of January 2013, the project has received environment clearance.
