Saraf Agencies has reported progress on its titanium di oxide project coming up at the proposed titanium park t Chhatrapur in south Odisha's Ganjam district. Production of titanium slag is expected to commence by April 2014 while titanium dioxide production is set to start within 20 months from the zero date. The titanium plant would be set up on its own without any joint venture partner but with the help of Chinese technology. As of January 2013, the company has placed advances of Rs 150 million to Chinese equipment suppliers.
