Cargill is planning to set up a corn milling plant in Karnataka. The proposed plant will produce modified starch for the consuming processed food and pharmaceutical industries. As of December 2012, the company is scouting for land at Davangere in Karnataka for setting up the plant. The project is to be funded through internal accruals.

Completion schedule : 3rd quarter of 2014.
