GAIL has reported progress on its 879-km Phase-II pipeline to Mangalore and Bangalore in Karnataka. Phase-II of pipeline is passing through the states of Kerala (501 km), Tamil Nadu (312 km) and Karnataka (66 km). As of December 2012, phase I project has been completed and about 60% work on the Phase II project has also been completed.
