Apollo Hospitals is planning to set up 10 specialised hospitals for the treatment of heart diseases and cancer.Out of the 10, five will be focused on the treatment of heart diseases and the other five on cancer treatment. These will be in addition to the group’s plans of adding 2,000 beds All these 10 hospitals will have between 50-75 beds each and will be set up at locations like Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Varanasi. As of December 2012, the project is in the planning stage.
