Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board is planning to set up a 60 MLD waste water treatment plant at K&C Valley with power generation. The project is funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). As of November 2012, the contract for development of treatment plant has been awarded to VA Tech Wabag.
