Ghaziabad Development Authority is in plan for extension of the metro line from Vaishali to Electronic City. This 5.8km corridor is planned to traverse through National Highway 9, the CISF camp to DPS Indirapuram, and further curve near the Ramlila ground towards Niti Khand, Gyan Khand, and Ramprastha Greens. The GDA conducted a survey of the proposed route, and discussions regarding the route and possible realignments are expected to take place soon between the GDA and DMRC.
