GM Iron & Steel Company Ltd. Is In Plan For Expansion Of Existing Steel Plant At Village Kulei, Parjang In Dhenkanal District, Odisha. Presently Company Consisting Of 1 X 100 TPD & 1 X 350 TPD DRI Kilns, 2x10 T Induction Furnaces, 30,000 TPA Rolling Mill And 12 MW (8 MW WHRB + 4 MW AFBC) Captive Power Plant. Now Company Plan For Modernization Of The Following Units: DRI Kiln Of 1x100 TPD & 1x350 TPD Will Be Enhanced To 1x130 TPD & 1x450 TPD Respectively. Linduction Furnace Of 2 X 10 T Will Be Enhanced To 2 X 12 T, Rolling Mill For TMT Production - 1x100 TPD To 1x400 TPD, Rolling Mill For Structural Production - 1x100 TPD To 1x250 TPD Apart From The Modernization, Expansion Will Also In Progress Under The Expansion Programme : Pellet Plant - 1x0.8 MTPA, Ldri Kiln - 1x500 TPD, Induction Furnace - 3x20 T, AOD - 1x20 T, CCM - 1x3 Strand, Captive Power Plant - 10 MW WHRB + 36 MW AFBC Wire Rod Mill - 1x500 TPD Slag Cement Grinding Unit - 2x500 TPD & 1x300 TPD.
