    1.Reading Of All The Installations In The Jurisdiction Shall Be Completed And Spot Bills Shall Be Issued From 1St To15th Of Every Calendar Month Irrespective Of The Seasons Without Fail.2.Meter Readers Shall Read The Energy Meter In The Consumer Premises.3.The Meter Reader Shall Issue The Electricity Bills On The Spot.4.Defects In Existing Installations If Any Shall Be Brought To The Notice Of Section Officers / Sub-Division Officers/Cesc Officer By Recording In The Meter Reader’S Observation Book.5.Spot Serial / Tc Wise Inventory Of Installations Shall Be Done And Updated As Per The Instruction Of The Section Officers / Sub-Division Officers.6.The Agency Has To Keep At Least 3 (Three) Numbers Of Spare Sbm’S (Spot Billing Machines) Compatible With Cesc Specifications In Consultations With The Assistant Executive Engineer (El), Of The Respective O M Sub-Division.
