Section - IiScope Of Work1. The Scope Of Work Mainly Involves Always Ensuring The Production Of Dm Water Required To All 8 Units Using Available Infra-Structure At Rtps Dm Plant 1 2 By Ion Exchange Process As Per Lay Down Procedure Round The Clock In All 3 Shifts.2. Dm Water So Produced Should Be Suitable To Our Boilers In Respect Of All Parameters Such As Ph , Conductivity, Silica Etc.3. Laboratory Has To Be Set Up In Both The Dm Plants To Analyze Water Quality From The Outlet Of All Vessels Of The Stream On Hourly Basis.4. Logging And Recording All Operation, Regeneration And Maintenance Activity.5. Only Qualified Staff With B.Sc. Chemistry Shall Be Posted As Supervisors And They Decide Over The Exhaustion Of Streams.6. Regeneration Is Being Most Important Activity In Dm Plant; Utmost Care Has To Be Exercised For Smooth Operation And To Keep The Healthiness Of All Equipment In The Existing Arrangement.7. Flow Rate, Concentration, And Quantity Of Regenerant, And Time Of Injection Shall Be As Per Operating Manual Provided By Oem.8. Successes Of Each Regeneration Shall Be Ensured Each Time By Calculating Obr As Per Ionic Load Of Raw Water To Avoid Wastage Of Costly Chemicals.9. It Is Necessary To, Ensure Turbidity Of Outlet Water From Running Pressure Sand Filters And Accordingly Do The Backwash As And When Required.10. Raw Water Analysis, Bulk Chemical Analysis, Unloading Of Bulk Chemicals, Preparation Of Daily Reports Are To Be Carried Out On Regular Basis.11. Transfer Of Dm Water To Cst And Dm Water Tank At Maximum Levels Has To Be Maintained Always By The Agency12. All Required Instruments And Their Calibration, Fine Chemicals Are In The Scope Of Agency.13. Periodic Cleaning And Proper Housekeeping In Dm Plants And Its Surrounding.14. The Effluent Generated During Regeneration Shall Be Properly Treated As Per Environmental Norms And Disposed.15. Instructions Of Kpcl Officers Have To Be Followed To Ensure Smooth Operation.
