| 8 | Material and labour for dismantling and removal of the existing old/unserviceable lift control panel and control wiring, and supply and fixing of a new CAN bus integrated, drive-based collective control panel housed in a hinged, powder-coated mild steel cabinet. The panel shall comprise a microcontroller-based programmable control system using pulse-width modulation (PWM) technology, compatible with an 18 kW (24 HP) variable voltage variable frequency (VVVF) drive, and shall incorporate all necessary safety features, including thermal overload protection, overcurrent protection, automatic phase reversal protection and networking/intercommunication between the connected control units. The work shall include complete control wiring, proper connections using suitable cable lugs, terminal connectors, screws and accessories, galvanised sheet-steel trunking of 24 SWG thickness, wiring of the main motor using suitably sized stranded copper cables, termination, integration with existing lift components, testing and commissioning, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
