| 6 | Towards the charges for Renewal and Repointing the Pressed tiles on roof slab using flexible pointing compounds. The following procedures has to be carried out, while doing repointing. (i) Preparation existing Roof The surface and the joints between the tiles should be cleared thoroughly using buffer and washed so that, they should be free from dirt or grease. The surface should be allowed to dry.(ii) Application(1) In Existing roof, the substrate should be checked and the damaged tiles has to be replaced with mortar screed wherever necessary. (2) The joints between the clay tiles has to be filled with Crack filling Powder or Polymer modified mortar.(3) One layer of Bond SBR and Polyer mixture/Polymer blend has to be applied on the clay tiles and it should be allowed to dry.(4) Fibre Mesh has to be spread over the Clay Tiles. One coat of styrene Butadiene Co Polymer Latex and Cement mixture has to be applied over the Fibre Mesh and allowed to dry for 4 hours. After that, the same process has to be repeated once again.( 5)On the next day one coat of Hybrid Polymer liquid has to be applied.(6) Finally the surface is allowed to dry and Polyurethane coating has to be applied in 3layers at on interval of 3 hours.The entire work has to be carried out by skilled Technician under the Supervision of the departmental officers concerned. The rate includes cost of materials, labour, transportation loading, unloading, incidental charges etc and as directed by departmental oficers concerned |
| 7 | Supplying and fixing in position 15mm dia brass of the following tap of approved make conforming to BIS specifications and quality including cost of shellac, thread, etc., complete complying with standard specification and including cutting and threading wherever necessary.
