| 2 | MS Coating :Providing, cleaning and preparing the inner and outer surfaces of MS casing pipe by abrasive/sand blasting to minimum Sa 2½ grade as per ISO 8501-1 or equivalent, including complete removal of rust, mill scale, dirt, oil, grease and other contaminants, and thereafter providing and applying approved polyurethane (PU) protective coating of minimum 1000 micron total dry film thickness over the prepared surfaces, including compatible primer/base coats, curing, checking of dry film thickness, holiday/defect testing and rectification, all materials, labour, machinery, tools and tackles, complete in all respects as per relevant standards and manufacturer’s recommendations. |
| 3 | Providing and fixing suitable non-corrosive HDPE/engineered polymer casing spacers/centralizers of approved make around the carrier pipe, at maximum 1.0 m centre-to-centre spacing or as recommended by the manufacturer, whichever is more stringent, for supporting and centralizing the carrier pipe within the MS casing pipe and preventing direct contact between the carrier pipe and casing pipe, complete with suitable clamps, fasteners, locking arrangement and all necessary accessories.
