| 2 | Charging, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 2V–300 Ah secondary cells on existing battery stands / RCC slabs in the battery room, including: • Initial charging through reputed agencies • Fixing and inter-connection of batteries using approved strips/connectors • Manufacture & fixing of 25 mm thick teak wood termination box with locking facility • Cable termination and wiring using PVC insulated copper wire 7/1.40 mm & 3/0.75 mm, laid through suitable PVC pipes/casing, properly clamped • Provision & fixing of Battery Particulars Board made of 6 mm phenolic sheet (900 mm × 1200 mm) with aluminium grooved channel frame in relay room • Digital printing of battery particulars with laminated gum sheet • Provision of Hydrometer – 1 No. (on stand) and Battery Tester – 1 No. • Application of anti-corrosive paint, varnish, petroleum jelly and completion of all finishing works Note: Supply of secondary cells is not covered under this item. All materials such as teak wood, wires, PVC pipes/casing, paints, clamps and miscellaneous items shall be supplied by the contractor. per the technical specifications and scope of work enclosed. |
