| 1 | Providing, fitting, testing and commissioning of FASD starter of (Star/Delta connection) suitable for 80 HP motor load. The FASD starter shall be housed in a single panel of industrial type (Non –hazardous) totally enclosed, free standing cubicle type, dust and vermin proof, with IP54 sheet metal enclosure construction and shall be fabricated out of 14-SWG cold rolled steel plates & properly supported & mounted on a base using angles & channels. It shall be internally wired and fitted with duly insulated suitable rating copper bus-bars of required size. The sheet metal enclosure of the FASD starter shall be painted in enamel paint of standard quality of Grey shade. The specifications of starter supplied shall be in compliance with latest relevant IEC/IEEE/IS Standards. The Technical Specifications / Details of the FASD starter shall be as under.I. Rated motor load = 80 HP/60KWii. Rated voltage = 380 to 440 volts (±10-15)%iii. Rated frequency = 50 Hz ±3%iv. Ambient Temperature = - 10 ⁰C to + 45 ⁰Cv. Enclosure type = IP54The Contactor Details shall be as:Main Contactor = AC3 Rating 185 A Delta Contactor = AC3 Rating 185 A Star Contactor = AC3 Rating 95 A Makes : = L & T/ Schneider/ABBThe FASD starter panel shall be provided with the following, metering and control devices. I. Motor Protection Relay (Make: Multispan /L&T/ /Minilec/ Equivalent) II. 96 x 96 mm Digital 3 Ph Voltmeter and Ampere meter (L&T,AE, Rishabh/Equivalent) III. Low watt consumption LED type indicating lamps ON-OFF, TRIP and PHASE INDICATION IV. Star-Delta Timer (Make:L&T/ Schneider/Minilec/Equivalent) V. Thermal Overload Relay of range 90-150 A (Make: L&T/ Schneider/Minilec/Equivalent) VI. MCBs for Auxiliary Wiring (Make: L&T/Havells/ Schneider/Equivalent) VII. ON OFF Push buttons actuator of Green/red color 0-5 AMP- 415 Volt. 50 Hz The job includes complete internal control wiring by using adequate capacity single strand copper wire for reputed make. The wire shall be provided within plastic washers/channels duly crimped with required thimbles.The \\"Motor Protection relay ‘of FASD starter shall be capable for protection /safety of motors against the following: I. Sudden Short circuit. II. Starting under Dry run/ locked or jammed conditions of rotor. III. System under voltage. IV. System over voltage. VI. Phase reversal. VI. Under/Over Current VII. Phase loss to protect motor from single phasing.The FASD starters shall be provided with all necessary controls / safety protections as required as per IS /IEC standards.
