Sl. No. Item Description
1DOZER BD-50 (13462) BEML MAKE — REPLACEMENT OF ALL BROKEN/DAMAGED CABIN MIRRORS. Inspect the complete cabin mirror system and identify every mirror that is broken, cracked, missing, excessively scratched, loose, corroded or otherwise unable to provide a clear and safe view to the operator. Verify the number, location, approximate dimensions, mounting type and required field of view of each mirror at site before procurement. Carefully remove defective mirror glass/assemblies and unserviceable arms, brackets or clamps without damaging the cabin sheet, paintwork or existing mounting points. Supply and install heavy-duty, vibration-resistant replacement mirror assemblies of suitable automotive/industrial grade, compatible with the existing mounting arrangement and operating conditions of the dozer. The job shall include, wherever required, replacement of mirror arms, brackets, clamps, backing plates, rubber bushes, spacers, washers, locking nuts, bolts and other minor fixing hardware; cleaning and preparation of mounting faces; correction of minor looseness or misalignment; and secure tightening of all fasteners. Position and adjust each mirror from the normal seated operating position so that rear and side visibility is restored as far as practicable, without obstructing cabin doors, windows or operator movement. After fitting, check the assemblies for firm holding, adequate adjustment range and resistance to ordinary machine vibration. The quoted job rate shall include supply of mirrors and associated minor hardware, dismantling, fitting, labour, carriage, consumables, tools and final inspection.
2DOZER BD-50 (13462) BEML MAKE — STRAIGHTENING, WELDING AND FABRICATION OF DISTORTED C-FRAME. Thoroughly inspect the C-frame and its accessible adjoining mounting interfaces for distortion, bending, cracks, torn or failed welds, loosened joints, local deformation and misalignment affecting safe fitment or operation. Record the affected portions and establish the existing alignment and clearances before commencing work. Securely support the assembly and isolate the machine; dismantle or shift only those components necessary to gain safe access, keeping removed fasteners and parts identified for refitting. Remove paint, rust, dirt and defective weld metal from repair areas; prepare edges by grinding or bevelling as appropriate; and carry out controlled straightening with suitable hydraulic/mechanical equipment so that avoidable damage or excessive heat distortion is prevented. Where considered necessary after inspection, measure, cut, shape and fit MS plates, gussets, stiffeners or local reinforcement pieces of suitable thickness and profile to match the existing member and repair requirement. Tack weld and check alignment before completing the welds; use suitable welding electrodes and sound welding practice compatible with the parent metal. Dress welds where required, remove slag and sharp projections, and visually examine the completed welds for visible cracks, porosity, lack of fusion or other obvious defects. Verify mounting alignment, fit, clearances and freedom from interference; refit disturbed components and tighten fasteners.
