Name of Work:- REPAIR RE-CANNING AND POLISHING TO WOODEN FURNITURE ITEMS AT AFS JAMMU UNDER GE (AF) JAMMU

1Repair of under mentioned furniture items will be carried out as follows:-(a) Removal of existing unserviceable material carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts from furniture articles as mentioned in the schedule.Supply and fixing new parts as per given specification and drg after tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, wedging, glueing, placing every part in-tact with standard workmanship and as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.(b) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units/Md accns of GE (West) Prayagraj /Chheoki including BSO Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(c) All Timber shall be of 1st class seasoned hard teak wood free from knots and cracks else specified in drg..
