| 74 | Scientific cleaning & Sterilization of PVC Water Storage Tanks of capacity upto 2000 litres: The job involves 6 stage Scientific Cleaning and Sterilization Process Consisting of Mechanical Dewatering, Hi-Pressure Cleaning, Sludge Removal, Vacuum Cleaning, Antibacterial spray and finally killing of suspended & floating bacteria by Ultra violet Radiation as detailed below:-1. Dewatering of Tanks:- The water from the storage tanks will be pumped out of tanks through Mechanical Dewatering Pumps of suitable capacity.2. High Pressure Interior Cleaning:- The interiors of the water storage tanks will be cleaned with high pressure jet which dislodges the layers of dirt and other suspended foreign bodies which may be sticking on the walls. This process will remove the layer of calcinations of dirt if any so as to make the interior free of any germs and bacteria.3. Sludge Removal:- The Dirty water and Sludge collected in the previous operation will be removed using industrial Sludge pumps and disposed off properly , away to a safer place so as not to contaminate the water. The Floor of the water Storage tanks should be again cleaned thoroughly using high pressure jet stream so as to remove all the remaining dirt which may be sticking on the floor even after the removal of sludge slurry.4. Drying of Tanks:- The Water storage Tanks will then be dried using Industrial Vacuum Cleaners of Suitable Capacity.5. Antibacterial Spraying:- The inside walls, ceiling and floor of the Water Storage Tanks will then be given the Antibacterial Treatment which would ensure all interior walls, ceiling and floor surface of the Water Storage Tanks totally Germs free.6. Sterilization using Ultra Violet Radiation:- Finally , UV Radiator will be used to ensure the complete wipe out of any bacterial traces which may still be present even after the completion of above processes by giving Ultra Violet Treatment on all Interior Surfaces.Note : The contractor shall mark the outer tank surface mentioning date of cleaning through acrylic paint. |
