| 2 | Note for Item No.1:- Complaint register & complaint Slip shall be maintained by the contractor and duly signed by JE /Engr-in-Charge will be taken on each complaint without sign complaint slip will not be accepted.(a) Suitable wooden ladder to be provided by contractor up to 24 feet and High power torch 02 nos to be provided without any extra cost. (b) Complaint to be attended within 1 to 2 hours otherwise there is a penality at @ Rs. 500/- per complaint.(c) During attending jobs, supervisor of contractor to be deployed by the contractor and he will ensure all shut down of sites, department will not be responsible for any shutdown.(d) Mandatary tools like earthing rod, gloves, cutter, Insulating plier, Screw driver, lamp meter, safty boots, safty Belts, Meggar LT and HT shall be provided by contractor and rate quoted by contractor are deemed to be inclusive of same.(e) Insurance of Manpower as per labour law to be provided by Contractor before deploying Elec/helper on Job.(f) Contractor shall submit ITI Certificate for electrican and 12th pass certificate and minimum 2 years experience certificate for Electrician and Helper along with police verification of deployed staff. (g) Payment to be made to the staff as per labour law of minimum wages and salary statement to be submitted by contractor during claming of payments.(h) If the event of any mishapping during jobs, department will not be responsible and all required Insurance cover/Medical expenditure to be borne by Contractor. (j) Contractor shall arrange his own vehicle. |

Earthing shall include provision of funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (light grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) up to 90 cm all around earth plate further filled with 60 cm thick Tibba sand and 2nd layer with 30 cm of Magnesium sulphate powder (compact thickness), 3rd layer with tibba sand up to ground level. Earthing shall also include concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded stone aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C both ways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary form work, earth work in excavation, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 m etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I complete to obtain less than 2 Ohm earth resistance value, complete all as specified and directed. |
