| 1 | Earth work excavation in all kinds of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5m, as directed by Engineer-in charge. |

The boxes shall be tied together in such a way that it will not get washed away even in case of high tides. In worst case of any such mishappenings, the lost gabion box shall be replaced by the Contractor at no extra cost to the Governrment. |

| 8 | Notes : a) The manufacturer of flexible rope gabions shall operate facilities certified to ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System). b)The manufacturer’s in house testing facility shall be accredited to ISO 17025:2017 and designated geosynthetic test methods in accordance with the Geosynthetic Accreditation Institute - Laboratory Accreditation Program (GAI-LAP).c) The Manufacturer of Flexible Rope Gabions should have the BIS license to use the Standard Mark issued by Bureau of Indian Standards (IS 17880). |
| 9 | d) The manufacturer shall possess in house design facility and also shall have product supervision capacity.e) The manufacturer shall possess sufficient & demonstrable in house manufacturing capacity to manufacture and supply flexible rope gabions in the given project completion timelines.f) Manufacturer shall have flexible rope gabion manufacturing facility in Indiag) The manufacturing company of flexible rope gabions shall have experience of minumum 10 years in manufacturing and sales/use of flexible rope gabions satisfactorily.
