| 1 | Desluding/clearing of septic tank mechanically with combined high pressure water jetting cum suction (vacuum) type machine mounted on LCV/HCV and having facilities of high pressure water thermoplastic fiber braided water jetting hose and through conical/round shape nozzler pipe and flushing after cleaning including removing the deposited sludge/solid/liquid material to a distance not exceeding 1000metre and depositing in a excavated pit of appropriate size as directed and filled up with earth in each layer 30cm thick as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.NOTE (i) Earth to be filled over the pit shall be filled after sufficient absorption of liquid and size of pit shall be made accordingly. (ii) To avoid any health hazard or any spreading of any foul gas, bleaching powder shall be spread as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Cost of supply and spreading bleaching powder shall be included in the rate quoted. (iii) There must be a regular interval of Six Months from the cleaning of septic tank. In case the tank required to be cleaned in the period of less than 06(six) months interval, approval of Accepting Officer must be obtained |
| 2 | Cleaning of underground sewage line of any description, by roding from manhole to manhole or manhole to eyes, underground and any depth by removing any type of blockage including de-silting and de-choking cleaning of blockage manually by rodding and removing the deposited sludge/solid/liquid material complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Cleaning of sewage line to be started from downstream side. In this operation some pipe line cleaned automatically which needs not be cleaned by rodding and hence the same shall not be measured and paid for. (ii) The unit rate of the item shall be deemed to include for removal of sludge / waste water accumulated in manhole / inspection chamber due to cleaning of drain by rodding etc. (iii) The sludge obtained shall be deposited in pit and filled up with earth in each layer 30cm thick as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Bleaching powder shall be used as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Cost of supply and spreading bleaching powder shall be included in the rate quoted. (iv) Water required for cleaning and flushing of SGSW/RCC hume drain pipe shall be arranged by the contractor at his own arrangement. |

| 4 | Cleaning of blocked pipe from floor trap/Nahni trap, Gully trap, water closet upto First Manholes including removing the sludge/mud for smooth functioning including cleaning of all and replacing in position old floor trap & gully trap covers and removing sludge/waste material to a distance not exceeding 1000metre and depositing in a excavated pit of appropriate size as directed and filled up with earth in each layer 30cm thick as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.NOTE (i) Earth to be filled over the pit shall be filled after sufficient absorption of liquid and size of pit shall be made accordingly.
