| 2 | Chipping and cleaning the surfaces which are to receive the coating or treatment, free from oil, laitance, grease, wax, dirt or any other form of foreign material adhering on it before the waterproofing job started. Dust free the surface, including removing of existing treatment/ old felt / loose plaster / concrete etc. and repair the joints or pointing with polymer mortar by adding bonding agent (SBR) with cement and finish the surface even and rough to receive topping layer, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |

| 6 | M & L for water proofing treatment in Pool by applying in 2.00mm of thik layers of Fosroc Nitocote CM210 or equivalent make as approved by GE, two-component polymer modified cementitious elastomeric coating system consisting of applying. The first coat shall be applied at a minimum wet film thickness of 1.00 mm (approximate coverage is 1.9 kg/m2) after dust free and moist the surface. Laying second layer of Fiber glass cloth of 45 GSM when the first layer is still green. Overlaps of joints of fiber cloth shall not be less than 10 cm. Applying final coat shall also be applied at a minimum wet film thickness of 1.00 mm and finished in one direction. Pre-dampening of the surface is not necessary when applying the second coat. The coating shall start after preparing carefully the complete coving and junctions’ water tight. All above operations shall be done in order, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 7 | M & L for 6mm thick base of Fosroc Nitotile MPA or equivalent make as approved by Garrison Engineer Grey/White a high performance, polymer modified multipurpose adhesive @ Approx 7 kgs/Sqm @ 6mm thickness using 6mm x 6mm square notch trowel including grouting the joints with approved grouts mixed with matching pigments etc. Tile adhesive shall satisfy the required Tensile Adhesion Strength in Dry condition: >1.5 N/mm2 and in Wet Condition: >1.0 N/mm2. Nitotile MPA shall be mixed with clear potable water in the ratio 0.26 to 0.30 with slow speed drill fitted with a mixing paddle is recommended for mixing as per manufacturer or complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 8 | M&L for Swimming pool ceramic tiles over floor and wall with tile spacer 3 mm thickness, the size of tile shall be 247 x 122 mm x 8 mm thick with water absorption average 2.5%, modules of rupture greater than or equal to 30 N per sq mm, scratch hardness minimum 5, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, colour – orient blue & marking borders complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Johnson Endura, Bisazza, Kajaria, Somani as approved by Garrison Engineer shall be provided. Tiles shall be fixed in the tile adhesive of following makes :- (i) Zentrival PL approx. 3 mm thick layer and grout the joints (3 mm thick) with file grout (Zentrival FM) of M/s MC-Douchemic or equivalent make as approved by Garrison Engineer , as per procedure given by manufacturers. (ii) Tilfi polymeric tile adhesive of M/s CICO Technologies Ltd or equivalent make as approved by Garrison Engineer as per procedure given by manufactures. Note: Adhesive under tiles are to be measured and paid separately Under respective item. |
