Supply Of cut-resistant hand gloves , supply of cut-resistant hand gloves for pointsman and shunting master the hand gloves sh all conform to the following minimum technical specifications: type: cut-resistant industrial safety hand glo ves suitable for railway yard, shunting and points operation duties. material: manufactured using a high-per formance blend of high performance polyethylene (hppe) and glass fibre or equivalent high-performance c ut-resistant yarn. palm coating: palm and finger area shall be coated with nitrile butadiene rubber (nbr) o r equivalent nitrile coating for enhanced grip and abrasion resistance. cut resistance: gloves shall be certif ied/tested as per en 388:2016 or latest applicable standard, with appropriate cut-resistant performance sui table for handling railway equipment and materials. dexterity: minimum dexterity level 4, allowing easy h andling and operation of tools, levers, equipment and other railway operating gear. grip: shall provide opti mum and secure grip in both wet and dry working conditions. design: palm-coated, seamless knitted constr uction with knitted elastic wrist/cuff to ensure comfortable and secure fitting. weight: ultra-lightweight desi gn to permit prolonged use without causing undue fatigue. comfort & fit: gloves shall be breathable, flexib e and ergonomically designed for extended working hours. they shall provide a snug fit without restricting inger movement. abrasion & tear resistance: gloves shall possess good abrasion and tear resistance suita ble for regular use in railway yards, points and shunting operations. safety certification: the gloves shall b e supplied with valid test/certification documents establishing compliance with en 388:2016 or latest applic able revision. sizes: appropriate sizes shall be supplied as per the requirement of the individual staff to ens ure proper fit and safe use. quantity: 02 pairs of gloves per person shall be supplied to each nominated poi ntsman and shunting master. the gloves shall be new, unused and of good industrial quality, suitable for ra ilway operating duties. the supplied gloves shall be free from manufacturing defects and shall conform to t he approved technical specifications.
