| 1 | Material and labour for servicing of window type air conditioner of capacity 1/1.5/2 TR at various locations, complete by cleaning of filter, condenser and evaporator sections with water jet spray and brushing, removing dust and dirt from the air conditioner all over, checking all electric connections, checking for any leakage by applying soap solution on joints and on liquid and vapour lines, checking the functionality of spares of the air conditioner, replacing the defective items with spares supplied under relevant items of the schedule, rectifying the defects and putting the air conditioner into operation, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Notes: (i) Spares shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of the schedule. (ii) As the nature of the work is daily maintenance of air conditioners, the contractor shall deploy two adequately trained technicians with helpers, as intimated by Engineer-in-Charge, to rectify each complaint within 48 hours of receipt of the complaint, failing which a penalty of ₹ 200/- per complaint per day till rectification shall be charged from the contractor. (iii) The contractor shall make his own arrangement for transportation of air conditioners from site to workshop. |
