2Fabrication, machining and supply of high-strength power transmission shaft for mooring capstan (as per sample). ( Drawing attached for referance). a) The shaft must meet the torque and enviromental demands of a drydock mooring capstan. b) Material Test Certificate of existing Shaft to be produce from a NABL Accredited lab. c) Shaft one end suitable for motor connecting pully and other end suitable for bearing supported in the base frame of capstan . d) All the gear teath designed with a safety factor and mesh with old gear. e) All the Dimensions and tolerance of shaft Stictly as per the sample. f) The scope shall include procurment of raw material,machining,spline cutting, keyway machining,heat treatment ( if required) g )Material Test Certificate of new Shaft to be produce from a NABL Accredited lab.
