| 1 | Removal of various thickness of existing ceramic blanket, cleaning the surface of MS & HRH Strainers, HP bypass valves, LP bypass steam lines applying the ceramic blankets of various thickness over the surface & connected pipe lines and other areas to the specified thickness (225-275mm). Fixing the ceramic blankets to the casing by ½” x 22G SS wire netting by mild steel plate at every stage 50 to 100 mm thickness of ceramic blankets. Including consumables, transportation, SS wire mesh, MS pin, MS retainer plate and hire charges of T&P's. (Ceramic Blanket will be supplied by TNPGCL). |
| 2 | Applying self setting cement (Cat–9) sandwiched with 5mil glass cloth, application of one coat of oil and heat resistant paints (Epiguard-4) light grey in colour over the surface of MS & HRH strainers, HP bypass valves, MAW & MAL valves, AS & CRH valves and its connected pipelines at deaerator floor and flash tank connected pipe lines. Including consumables and hire charges of T&P's. |
| 3 | Removal of various thickness of existing insulation and re-insulation with old/new ceramic blanket over the MAW & MAL valves and pipelines, AS & CRH valves and its connected pipelines at deaerator floor and flash tank connected pipe lines to the specified thickness of (75 mm) with old/new ceramic blanket of various thickness with wire mesh knitting. Including consumables, SS wire mesh and hire charges of T&P's. (Ceramic Blanket will be supplied by TNPGCL) |
| 4 | Laying aluminium sheet cladding of old/ new over the turbine, MS & HRH strainers, AS & CRH valves and its connected steam pipelines. Including consumables, transportation and hire charges of T&P's. |
| 5 | Cleaning of released ceramic blanket/wool from the work spot:- This work involves complete collection of released waste ceramic/wool, debris and other unwanted insulation materials from the work spot, gathered in one place and clear, transport for away from the site as per the instruction of Engineer in-charge.
