| 1 | Maintenance and attending breakdown of LT overhead lines and underground cables from LT terminals of transformer to ACBs and MCCBs of LT panels of sub stations and up to main distribution boards at buildings, overhead lines and street lights, including attending minor repairs and day to day maintenance of LT panels for smooth and trouble free LT power supply, rectification of minor defects to electrical controls and accessories, and attending breakdown at any time round the clock, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The rate quoted is inclusive of the following: (a) Attending minor repairs and breakdown without involving any new materials shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (b) Major repairs and breakdown involving supply and fixing of materials such as cables, cable joints and MCCBs are outside the scope of contract. (c) The rates are inclusive of one electrician and one helper. |

| 3 | Repair and maintenance of LT panel board or feeder pillar box of any type, indoor or outdoor, by taking shutdown, checking of loose contacts and tightening of all nuts and bolts, removing dust by air blower, removing carbon particles, rubbing heated portions of busbar and cleaning by using CRC 2-26 or equivalent, or petrol, tightening of all joints in busbar, checking of earth and neutral voltage, removal of foreign particles and replacement of corroded glands, thimbles, hinges, door locks, door knobs, gaskets, busbar sleeves (red, yellow, blue and black) sets, nuts, bolts and washers etc, and welding damaged doors and hinges of LT panel or feeder pillar box properly, including removing old paint from the LT panel or feeder pillar box by paint remover, cleaning and scraping internally and externally, preparing the surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of existing colour over a coat of red oxide primer, white washing of PCC base, and writing of description as required, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
