(d) Check and correct temperature setting of thermostats and functioning of indicator lamp. (e) Checking of dead weight type high pressure release valve (PRV) by removing dead weight protection cleaning the seat and ensuring that the waste hole is not blocked / chocked including replacing washers / spring etc. (f) Replacing of fusible plug & ensure it intactness. (g) Descalling of the immersion type heating element and cleaning with diluted hydrochloric acid or cleaning solution and testing. (h) Testing of geysers after repairs/maintenance in all respect for proper functioning. (Note.: Replacement of defective components such thermostat, safety valves fusible, plug, heating elements, PRV dead wt valve etc., will be measured and paid separately under relevant items. |

(vii) Checking firmness of supporting arrangement for compressor, blower motor, air conditioners casing and fixing of air-conditioners etc., anti-rusting painting of the MS portion prone to rusting.(viii) Replacement of components of air conditioner found defective after above checks and tests. |
| 43 | Note :(a) Cleaning, overhauling and servicing of each unit shall be carried out on quaterly basis.(b) The AC units shall be checked completely and serviced/repaired thoroughly at least once in three months as prescribed by the manufacturer of the AC units. In addition to this AC units shall be attended on break down with in 24 hours after intimation and shall be get repaired with in 48 hours, failing which necessary recovery @ Rs 200 per AC per hrs shall be made.(c) Items/parts required for repair/replacement shall be measured and paid separately under relevent items here-in-after. |
