The work shall commence with the removal of existing turf, accumulated thatch, and other unwanted material, wherever necessary, followed by tilling of each green to a depth of six (6) inches (approximately 150 mm) to loosen the soil and facilitate proper seedbed preparation. Thereafter, properly sieved sand shall be supplied, spread, and filled uniformly over each green to a thickness of two (2) inches (approximately 50 mm), subject to the recommendations of the technical expert and the suitability of the existing green profile. The work shall further include proper dressing, levelling, and preparation of the surface to achieve a uniform and suitable seedbed for subsequent seeding. The agency shall also provide a suitable drag mat/levelling system, seed/fertilizer spreader, and all required labour, machinery, tools, and equipment for the proper execution of the work. The entire operation shall be carried out under the supervision of an expert technical team to ensure uniform surface levels, adequate growing conditions, and protection of the existing drainage and irrigation infrastructure, thereby making the back-nine greens suitable for seeding and restoration ahead of the forthcoming playing season.Any damage caused to the existing sprinkler system, irrigation lines, drainage infrastructure, or other underground utilities during the execution of the work shall be the sole responsibility of the executing agency.
