The reflective raised pavementmarkers shall also confirm to theMORTH circular No RW / NH. MORTH circular No RW / NH.33023/10/ 97-DO.III and the length,height and width of the body shall notbe less than 100 mm, 15 mm and 90mm and base of marker shall be flatwithin 1.3 mm and outermost faces ofconfiguration of marker shall not deviatemore than 1.3 mm from a flat surface.The marker shall support a load of13635 133 tested in accordance withASTM D4280. The marker shallwithstand flexural strength of 909 133fforce in accordance with ASTM D4280.Marker lenses shall be moulded ofPolycarbonate or methyl methecrylateconforming to ASTM D788. The area ofeach retro reflectory surface shall notbe less than 13.0 sq.cm. The slope orretro – reflectory surface shall be 35 + 5degree to base. Each reflector shallhave a CIL not less than valuesspecified in table 1 of MORTH Section8 0 0 p a g e n o .35 3 a n d s h o u l d accompany two year warranty for satisfactory field performance from the manufacturer |
