| 1 | Carrying out the detailed topographic and alignment survey of the proposed road using modern instruments such as total stations, auto level, establishing horizontal and vertical control with permanent benchmarks, carrying out contouring at suitable intervals, and preparing longitudinal sections along the centerline as well as cross-sections at regular chainages / contours of not more than 1 metre interval. Submission of 4 copies of final plan duly printed out in colour format on A1 Size paper considering average of 10 bighas of land on one sheet and critical locations. The work shall also cover plotting existing features and utilities, preparing detailed plans with alignment geometry, typical cross-sections, drainage proposals, and calculating earthwork quantities based on L- and cross-sections, in accordance with relevant IRC standards and departmental guidelines. All drawings and reports shall be submitted in both hard copy and digital formats (DWG and PDF) |
| 2 | Conducting subsurface soil investigation for proposed building foundations by boring/drilling of boreholes to the required depth, including Standard Penetration Test (SPT) in accordance with IS 2131 at specified depth intervals and at changes in soil strata, recording of corrected/observed SPT N-values, collection of representative soil samples, identification and logging of sub-soil strata, observation of ground water table, where encountered, and interpretation of field and laboratory test results for assessment of allowable bearing pressure and settlement characteristics of the foundation soil, including preparation and submission of detailed geotechnical investigation report with recommendations regarding suitable type, depth and safe bearing pressure of foundations, complete in all respects as per IS 1892, IS 2131, IS 1498, IS 6403 and relevant IS codes, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
