| 1 | Excavation in foundation, trenches,etc. in earth work in all kinds of soil such as pick work,jumper work,blasting work, hard blasting and chiselling etc. stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 mtrs.clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm.layers when required into plinths sides of foundations etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed within all leads and lifts. |
| 2 | Providing Laying and jointing in trenches galvanised mild steel tube (Medium grade) of following diameters conforming to IS-1239 as specified below jointed with butt welding according to relevant BIS code 816-1969 including all short pieces bends,tee and other specials etc. made from parent tubes as applicable for the particular reach and of approved specifications as per site conditions including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The laying of pipes should conform to BIS code 5822-1970 within all leads and lifts complete in all respect. |
