| 2 | Providing and fixing 6 mm thick (approximately) heavy-duty, machine-tufted modular tile carpet of commercial grade, \\"Gold Rated\\" of the design, shade and pattern approved by the Bank, as per the following specifications:- Surface preparation :- The existing floor finish shall be neatly cleaned by suitable device to receive the modular carpet flooring. If the flooring is found to be with any undulations in the level, the same has to be brought to uniform level with appropriate method. The modular tile carpet shall be - i) Method of construction tile carpet : Machine tufted ii) Surface Texture: Multi Level Patterned Loop. iii) Gauge: 47 rows per 10 Cms iv) Fibre type: 100% Solution Dyed Yarn v) Yarn weight: .≥ 565 Gms per SqMt. vi) Tile Size: 500 MM x 500 MM or other approved size vii) Modular Backing: The modular backing of the tile shall be an ultra-dense, five-layer cushion backing system (with a minimum of 30% recycled material), comprising two layers of Premium Vinyl Polymer and one layer each of Poly-Coat Polymer, Fibre Glass Scrim and Primary Backing.viii) Laying: The installation of the carpet tiles shall be done as per the directional method instructed and as per the manufacturer's specification. The Contractor shall visit and examine the site and satisfy himself as to the extent and magnitude of the work. The carpets shall be laid as per the design and layout provided by the Bank. The rate shall be inclusive of all charges for laying, fixing, adhesive, cartage, cutting, wastage, and all incidental expenses necessary to complete the work.
