| 1 | M & L for Structural Repair to Honeycombed / Spalled / Distressed RCC beams, columns, slabs, chajjas (where shuttering not feasible) etc. complete in all respect as under :- (a) Propping, scaffolding, covering floor with plastic sheets.(b) Chipping loose/honeycombed concrete up to sound concrete, exposing reinforcement 25mm behind bars, cleaning with wire brush & compressed air, disposal.(c) Cleaning reinforcement, removing rust, applying one coat of anti-corrosive coating (Armatec 108 / Nitoprime Zincrich) on steel.(d) Applying bonding coat of SBR Latex + cement (1:1) on concrete & steel.(e) Fixing 50x50mm welded chicken mesh tied to existing reinforcement with binding wire, drilling & grouting dowels with epoxy where required (steel up to 10 Kg/Sqm included).(f) GUNITING: Providing and applying 50mm to 75mm thick Guniting / Shotcreting with M30 Grade (cement : sand : 6mm aggregate = 1:1:1.5) admixed with SBR latex @10% + micro-silica, sprayed by dry-mix guniting machine under air pressure 3-4 kg/cm2 in layers of max 25mm each, including compressor, nozzle, water dosing, finishing to line & level, curing for 14 days complete.(g) Applying 2 coats of polymer modified protective coating (Top Seal 107) @ 1.2 kg/sqm.(h) Injection grouting of cracks with low viscosity epoxy if required, all T&P, cleaning site complete as directed.(j) Providing all required scaffolding (double), safety nets, PPE, cleaning floor with plastic sheet protection, removing debris and cleaning site on completion, conducting Rebound Hammer / UPV test on repaired area if required by Engr-in-Charge, all T&P, labour, material, curing, testing complete in all respect as specified and as directed by GE.Note: Rates are inclusive of all materials (micro-concrete, epoxy, SBR, zinc rich primer, GI nipples, reinforcement steel for jacketing up to 15 kg/sqm of repaired area), labour, formwork, props, scaffolding, lead, lift, curing, testing. No extra payment for any operation.Notes:(1) The work shall be executed through authorised applicator of manufacturer only.(2) Authorised Applicator shall be approved by GE before starting of work.(3) All materials shall be procured directly form manufacturer. (d) Addition reinforcement for jacketing: Drilling 16mm dia holes in existing RCC to 100mm depth, grouting 12mm dia vertical bars & 8mm dia stirrups @ 100mm c/c with epoxy anchor (Lokfix / AnchorFix), fixing new steel cage, cost of steel up to 15 Kg/Sqm included.(e) MICRO-CONCRETING: Providing, shuttering, pouring Non-shrink high strength free flow Micro-concrete Grade M-40 (Renderoc RG / Sika Monotop-R / MasterEmaco S488) with 6mm graded aggregate, including mixing as per manufacturer, pouring from one side, proper compaction by rodding/tapping, curing for 14 days, de-shuttering, removal of props complete. Minimum strength 40 N/mm2 at 28 days.(f) Injection grouting of cracks/honeycombs with low viscosity epoxy (Sikadur-52) through GI nipples @ 300mm c/c, sealing with epoxy putty, cutting nipples after cure.(g) Applying 2 coats of polymer modified cementitious coating (Top Seal 107) for protection.(h) Providing all required scaffolding (double), safety nets, PPE, cleaning floor with plastic sheet protection, removing debris and cleaning site on completion, conducting Rebound Hammer / UPV test on repaired area if required by Engr-in-Charge, all T&P, labour, material, curing, testing complete in all respect as specified and as directed by GE.Note: Rates are inclusive of all materials (micro-concrete, epoxy, SBR, zinc rich primer, GI nipples, reinforcement steel for jacketing up to 15 kg/sqm of repaired area), labour, formwork, props, scaffolding, lead, lift, curing, testing. | 3 | M& L in repair for Providing and applying the plaster with single component ready to use Polymer modified repair mortar capable of applying 15mm average thickness in single layer and finishing with trowel with a bond coat : SBR polymer (@ 10% of cement weight) modified cementious bond coat @ 2.2 kg cement/Sqm of surface area including taking down existing roof treatment of any type with cement plaster on brick/concrete surfaces, including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc., to receive further treatment, complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Smart Care (Asian Paints) or equivalent in Sika/ Forsook/ Berger/ STP. Note : The application shall be executed on any type of surface and on horizontal/Vertical areas. |
| 4 | M&L in repair APP based polymeric membrane with mineral granules on top surface, minimum weighting 3 kg/Sqm and minimum 3 mm thick reinforced with polyester non woven fabric (wt not less than 150 gms/sqm) over one coat of 85/25 bitumen @1.2 kg/sqm with bitumen primer and paste the membrane with torching method and again apply a coat of 85/25 bitumen @ 1.6 kg/sqm at overlapping joints with a over lap of 75mm at the sides and 100 at the ends complete all as specified. | 5 | M& L in repair and Providing and applying Smartcare Damp proof, a fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane formulated with reinforcing acrylic fibres having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on horizontal/vertical surfaces of roof/wall/chajjas in multiple coats @2.0 litre/Sqm. Primary coat is self-priming coat of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1, damp proof : water) and other coats to be applied undiluted. The coating needs to be reinforced with 40 GSM geotextile, to sandwiched between 2nd & 3rd coat of coating. The application shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.(Make: Smart Care Damp Proof of Asian Paints or equivalent in Berger and Nerolac).Notes: (1) The work shall be executed through authorised applicator of manufacturer only.(2) Authorised Applicator shall be approved by GE before starting of work.(3) All materials shall be procured directly form manufacturer. Engineer-in-Charge shall deface the original purchase vouchers.(4) Guarantee: The contractor shall furnish a written guarantee for the effectiveness of the water proofing treatment for a period of Eight years in favour of the GE. A sum equivalent to 2.5% (Two point Five Percent) of the cost of water proofing treatment shall be retained by the Govt from the contractor’s dues as security deposit. The contractor may, however, furnish a fixed deposit receipt in lieu from a Schedule bank pledged in favour of Garrison Engineer. |
