| 8 | M & L for Mild steel sliding door bolts, plate type, 200 mm length stove enamelled black, with bright bolt not less than 12mm dia with and including a minimum of 6 bolts and nuts, four on bolt plate and two on staple plate or fabricated with frame all as specified and directed. Notes For Ser item No 01 to 08 (i) The above items will be executed for fabrication and fixing of MS Iron frame caging around PVC Over head tanks (OHTs) to provide protection against monkeys , other animals and contamination. (ii) Any PVC OHT pipelines, fittings, valves or other water-supply services disturbed or damaged during the installation of the iron-frame caging shall be properly reinstated and made good by the contractor, complete in all respects, at no extra cost. (iii) The iron-frame caging work shall be planned and executed in phases in consultation with the Engineer-in-Charge, ensuring that the existing external water-supply services to users are not interrupted or adversely affected during execution. (iv) The contractor shall visit the site before submission of the tender to assess the existing site conditions, dimensions, access, obstructions and other relevant ground conditions and shall satisfy himself regarding the scope and quantum of work before quoting the rates.
