| 1 | Demolition of concrete of any description and in any position, not otherwise specifically provided for, including removal of debris to MoD land, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.(i) Before quoting the tender, bidders are advised to ascertain the distance to the MoD land where excavated material/debris is to be disposed of. No extra claim whatsoever shall be entertained on this account.(ii) This item shall be considered as per site requirements. |
| 2 | Treatment of sunken floor slab comprising the following specifications, complete all as specified:(i) M&L for cleaning the sunken/lowered portion of RCC slab surface (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brushing, chiselling out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely. Provide 40 mm thick average PCC 1:2:4, Type B0, using 12.5 mm graded aggregate as padding concrete to achieve proper slope.(ii) Rendering of uneven surfaces with 10 mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral waterproofing compound as per manufacturer’s instructions. Fill with water and check for dampness and seepage. Where seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting carried out (WPC shall be measured and paid separately).(iii) All junction points of side walls where CI/GI pipes pass through shall be sealed with epoxy putty.(iv) After drying of putty, wash the slab and sides of the sunken portion with water and clean thoroughly.(v) M&L for applying two coats of polymer-modified cementitious waterproof coating as per manufacturer’s instructions to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level +100 mm height. Total thickness of two layers shall be 1 mm. When the second layer is still tacky, coarse sand shall be sprinkled over vertical and bottom surfaces. (This item shall be measured and paid separately.)(vi) Plaster the bottom and sides up to the bottom of skirting with minimum 20 mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral waterproofing compound as per manufacturer’s instructions including rounding of corners and junctions and forming slopes towards spout. (WPC shall be measured and paid separately.)(vii) All pipes laid in the sunken portion shall be covered with 50 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 all around after applying anti-corrosive paint.
