| 2 | STATOR REWINDING (3.3 KV 800 HP 740 RPM motor) :The scope of work includes dismantling the motor, threading out the rotor from the stator core pack, stripping out of old stator windings, cleaning the slots, conducting hot spot tests to find out the any core damages, rewinding the stator using of class `H’ enamelled with polymica covered electrolytic grade rectangular copper conductors , winding, pre-staggering with thermopreg, insulating the slot portions using samicapor insulating materials, applying corona protection tapes, inserting the windings into the slots, banding the overhang portions in the surge ring, leading out the end connection, preheating, Global Vacuum Pressure Impregnating the winding with core pack in vacuum chamber using suitable resin, baking, physical testing, providing flexible silicon cables, applying finishing varnish during assembling, servicing regreasing facility during running, cleaning of motor including heat exchanger tube and fans, painting, placing proper gaskets on joints, no load trial run and measuring all no load parameters in the presence of FACT representatives.
