| 1 | Checking, routine maintenance and attending daily complaints of lightening protection system (LPS) of Storage Sheds/ Technical Buildings in Depot & Domestic area and making LPS in 100% serviceable condition including rectification complaints complete all as specified and directed. The detailed scope of maintenance includes:-(a) Routine Checking/ Inspection (Monthly Task): Inspection of lightening arrestor of Storage Sheds/ Technical Buildings for tightening of loose nuts on epoxy insulators, rusting of lightening conductor strip/AT Rod, bend/down of AT Rod/strips, open strip/conductor, condition of earth pits. |
| 2 | (b) Attending Complaints (Breakdown Maintenance): Attending emergency site complaints of loose connections, or earth-neutral voltage faults promptly within a stipulated turnaround time (within 72 hours) which involves changing damaged LAs, fixing disconnected terminal connectors, or updating damaged down-conductors.(c) System Upkeep: replacing defective or eroded AT rod, rusted/deteriorated roof/down conductor, securing down conductors and cleaning support insulators.
