| 1 | Excavation in foundations and trenches (for pipes and pits in all depths etc.) in all lifts and in all kinds of soils such as pick work, jumper work, blasting in soft/hard rock, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) soft / hard rocks and saturated soils, stacking the excavated earth within all leads and lifts, clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers when required into plinths, sides of foundation and trenches etc., consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed by Engineer-in-charge within all leads and lifts including uprooting of trees, dressing of beds and sides and preparation of sub-grade, restoration of unmetalled /metalled/paved surfaces to its original conditions including soring, strutting, timbering where ever required, providing diversion for traffic, fixing night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses complete and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 2 | Providing, laying, jointing, testing in trenches ( to level or grade) of 200mm dia MSERW Pipe conforming to IS-3183-2007 Grade L-290/X42grade & suitable to withstand required hydraulic test pressure in randum length 4m-6m with plain ends and jointed with MS Flanges conforming to IS: 6392-1971 (leated upto date amendments) and welding of flanges as per IS : 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 including required number and size of MS nuts & bolts as per IS1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fibre jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3.00mm in thickness as per IS: 2712-1998 & butt welded joints.the welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers on outer face & one layer on inner face to make the joints leak proof and to be the entire satification of Engineer in charge. The laying of pipes shall conform to IS 5822-1994 as per CPHEEO manual and will include all operations such as cutting, welding and jointing including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer -in-charge. |

| 4 | Providing Circumferencial Butt welded joints by electrical are welding to below mentioned dia and wall thickness GMS pipe welded in two layers to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to IS 816-1969 specifications, by using welding electrodes of 2.5 mm to 6.3 mm of Advani Oerlikon (Adore)-CITOJET/ESAB make, conforming to IS 814-1991 including manual / machanical handling of pipe and cutting of threaded ends of pipe at site of work complete in all respects, including manual/machanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge. |
