| 1 | Material and Labour for servicing of Window / Split type Air conditioner upto 2 Ton capacity (Any make and any type) involving with following other repairs for smooth operation and satisfactory cooling of AC complete all as specified and directed.Safety First : Turn off the power at the main circuit breaker or unplug the unit.Indoor Unit Cleaning:(i) Filters: Remove the front panel and air filters, then wash with water or clean with a vacuum.(ii) Evaporator Coils: Remove the front cover to access the coils. Clean with a soft brush, vacuum, or a no-rinse coil cleaner.(iii) Blower Wheel / Fan: Clean the blower wheel, ensuring the fan does not rotate while cleaning.(iv) Drainage : Clear the drain pipe / line to prevent water leakage.(v) Cover Electronics: Use a plastic cover to protect the PCB and electrical components from water.Outdoor Unit Cleaning:(i) Condenser Coils: Use a soft brush or water to remove dirt, dust, and leaves from the fins.(ii) Straighten Fins: Use a fin comb to straighten any bent fins, enhancing air flow.(iii) Final Steps: Re-assemble the unit once all parts are dry, reconnect the power, and run the AC in cooling mode to verify performance.Note:- (i) Any unserviceable spares parts / gas charging required for smooth operation and satisfactory cooling of AC shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate item. (ii) Petty stores such as insulation tape, screws, small pieces of wires, indicator lamp, selector switch, control knob, thermostat switch costing less then Rs 200 shall be provided by the Contractor without any extra cost to the department. |

| 7 | M & L for testing leakage in system of Window / Split type air conditioner upto 1.5 Ton capacity (any make and any type) by injecting Nitrogen gas upto 300 PSi, repairing leaking spots / joints with gas welding / soldering, replacing unserviceable copper filter pencil type, cleaning & flushing out complete system with gas, making the system leak proof, vaccumising the system complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.Note:- (i) Labour component for checking leakage, system fusing, welding, soldering, vaccumising cost there off shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) Necessary T&P for mechanic shall be arranged by the contractor at his end without any extra cost to the department. |

| 9 | Material & Labour for charging of gas R-22 / R-410A / R-32 / R-134(a) / R-290 as existing for Split inverter / non inverter type, window type Air Conditioner system capacity upto 1.5 Ton (any make) including replacement of copper capillary tube of adequate length, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note for Item Nos 2 & 9: (i) Labour componenet & Refrigerant gas for charging of equiptment compressor shall be provided by the firm cost there off shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) All Engineering works shall be carried out at site / E/M store yard only in presence of Engineer-in-Charge or E/M representative detailed. (iii) No equipment shall be transported /carried out to local market for repairs. (iv) Necessary T & P for gas charging of appliances for mechanic shall be arranged by the contractor at his end without any extra cost from the department. (v) Gas charging at one location will be measured and paid as one job only inspite of charging number of times at same location. (vi) Vehicle convenience involved for transportation of equiptment from MES store, INS Hamla/ site to civil work shop shall be carried out by the firm without any extra cost to the department. |
