| 1 | Material and labour for preparing and applying epoxy floor markings on the existing EPU surface, including removal of dust, dirt, oil, grease and other contaminants, setting out and marking the required geometry for continuous and broken lines, curves, centre lines, stop lines, equipment-location markings, wheel-guidance markings, other linear floor markings and aircraft parking marking, with a line width not exceeding 25 cm, applying masking tape along the boundaries to achieve sharp and uniform edges, applying a compatible epoxy primer/base coat, and applying two coats of two-component epoxy floor-marking paint of approved colour, uniformly by roller, brush or suitable marking machine, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The work shall be executed by skilled and experienced applicators/painters, including protection of adjacent surfaces, curing and removal of masking tape, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note :- Measurement for payment shall be based on the actual marked area, calculated by multiplying the actual length and actual width of each line, curve etc. For broken lines, only the actual painted lengths shall be measured, excluding the gaps. The total area shall be the sum of the areas of all markings, measured in square metres |
