| 13 | NOTE for item No. 1 to 3 above(i) The contractor will submit a tri-party Memorandum of understanding (MOU) with any one manufacturer of paint given in CA(ii) The entire work shall be got executed in strict supervision of Manufacturers authorized Engineer/ representative who will ensure use of original premium quality paint/primer in adequate quantity as per coverage area of paint/primer and produce purchase vouchers/ Invoice for full quantity of paint, primer and putty.(iii) Removal of existing treatment from old decorative wall/roof projections including facia, cornices etc shall be scrapped using mechanical sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism and RPM not less than 1500), with sanding pad of 240 Grit or above by skilled labour.(iv) Putty powder and water shall be mixed in putty mixer having mixing capacity of min 2.5 Kg putty per minute. Weather shall be mixed as per manufacturer instructions.(v) Each coat of putty shall be applied using fully automatic airless spray machine for putty application having flow speed of max 6 liters per minutes with a maximum pressure 3300 PSI. The time interval between two subsequent coats shall be min 6 to 8 Hours.(vi) Each coat of primer and paint shall be applied using fully automatic airless spray machine for paint application with a flow speed of min 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI and capable of operating single spray gun with a max material hose length of 30 m. the accessories for applying emulsion should be able to spray in hard to reach areas and penetration of emulsion on the surface using auto roller for making the surface uniform. The time interval between two subsequent coats shall be min 6 to 8 Hours. |
