1Charges for rectification of released defective Boiler Feed Pump Motor Cooler 4C in Unit-4: Charges for dismantling the defective cooler cover, cleaning the cooler tubes by wire brush, air and water. checking the cooler tubes for leak by, hydraulic testing at 4Kg/cm2 pressure. Changing the gaskets and reassembling the cooler. Arresting of leaks by plugging the leaky tubes in the brass plugs (Fabrication and supply of brass plug under contractor scope, Rectification of defects in Boiler Feed Pump motor cooler) including cost of Nitrile rubber Gasket (15 kg) and anti corrosive paint (1 lit). Opening of all earth pit in Transformer Yard, cleaning the earth electrode & pit, checking the joints and earthing rod if necessary, Closing the cover after completion of work.
