Tender For Provision Of Tiling Of Classrooms Wall Tiling Work Providing And Fixing First-Quality Ceramic Glazed Wall Tiles Of Approved Make, Size 300 Mm × 450 Mm, Up To A Height Of 5 Ft In 14 Classrooms. The Approximate Wall Tiling Area Shall Be 510 Sq Ft Per Classroom, With A Total Area Of Approximately 7,140 Sq Ft 2. Dismantling And Removal Of Existing Plaster Dismantling And Removing The Existing Plaster From The Classroom Walls Up To A Height Of 5 Ft, Covering An Approximate Area Of 510 Sq Ft Per Classroom In 14 Classrooms. The Work Shall Include Careful Removal Of Loose And Damaged Plaster Without Damaging The Underlying Masonry And Disposal Of Debris At An Approved Location. 3. Quality And Color Of Tiles Tiles Shall Be Of Approved Quality, Make, Colour And Shade, As Approved By The Competent Authority. Burgundy, Bottle Green And Black Colours Shall Not Be Used. 4. Fixing And Installation Tiles Shall Be Fixed Over A 12 Mm Thick Cement Mortar Bed In The Ratio Of 1:3 (1 Part Cement And 3 Parts Coarse Sand), Including Cutting, Levelling, Alignment And Finishing, As Required. 5. Jointing And Pointing Tile Joints Shall Be Filled With Grey Cement Slurry At Approximately 3.3 Kg Per Sq M, Including Pointing With White Cement Mixed With Matching Pigment To Ensure A Neat And Uniform Finish 6. Scope Of Work The Work Shall Include The Supply Of Tiles And All Necessary Materials, Labour Charges, Transportation, Installation, Cutting, Wastage, Finishing And Gst, As Applicable. 7. Completion And Quality All Tiled Surfaces Shall Be Properly Aligned, Levelled And Finished. The Completed Work Shall Be Free From Cracks, Loose Tiles, Uneven Joints And Other Visible Defects. The Site Shall Be Cleaned After Completion Of The Work. 8. Total Quantity Wall Tiling In 14 Classrooms, Approximately 510 Sq Ft Per Classroom, T Approximately 7,140 Sq Ft.
