| 1 | Repairing, renovation and improvement of existing Nursery Unit of size 12.00 m × 5.00 m, including repairing and strengthening of the existing roof frame structure and providing additional structural members, supports, clamps and necessary fixing arrangements for proper installation and reuse of existing polycarbonate roofing sheets; supplying and fixing polycarbonate sheets, wherein 50% of the total required quantity of polycarbonate sheets shall be supplied by the Department and the remaining 50% shall be procured by the contractor, including necessary cutting, fitting, overlapping, screws, washers and other fixing accessories; repairing damaged plaster by removing loose and defective portions, applying cement-sand mortar and finishing the surface properly; preparing internal wall surfaces and applying approved quality colour wash/paint, including surface preparation, minor crack filling and finishing coats; providing and laying cement concrete flooring in front of the Nursery Unit, including ground preparation, compaction, concrete laying, levelling, finishing and curing; carrying out land development around the existing Nursery Unit, including site clearance, earth filling, spreading, levelling and compaction as required; and constructing an approach road of 100.00 m length and 6 feet (1.83 m) width, including site clearance, earthwork, preparation and compaction of subgrade, provision of suitable sub-base and road surfacing as per approved specification, complete with all materials, labour, transportation, tools, tackles, fixing accessories and incidental works, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
