| 1 | Installation of pipe-type earthing for grounding of 220 kV transmission line gantries and towers at the specified locations of the 220 kV Phulpur–Jaunpur and 220 kV Phulpur–Sarangapur transmission lines. The work shall include shifting of departmental earthing materials from the store of 220 kV Substation Phulpur to the respective sites; excavation of holes approximately 3.5 metres deep and 0.3 metre in diameter; installation of pipe-type earthing electrodes; filling of the excavated holes with alternate layers of coke and salt; and connecting the earthing electrodes to the respective gantries and towers using GI strips, nuts and bolts. The work shall also include all necessary labour, tools, tackles, transportation within the work area and incidental works required for proper completion of the job. Pipe-type earthing electrodes, GI strips, nuts and bolts shall be supplied by the department. The work shall be completed as per departmental instructions and applicable technical requirements.
