| 1 | Supply and Installation of 16 m high-mast lighting system, fabricated from high strength structural steel sections, tapered polygonal/octagonal type, complete with base plate and all necessary accessories, suitable for installation and operation under site conditions, comprising mast sections of suitable dimensions as per approved OEM design, with top dia 150 mm, bottom dia 410 mm, section length 8300 mm and thickness 3 mm/4 mm as applicable, complete with base plate of 570 mm dia x 25 mm thick having PCD 490 mm, including 8 nos. M30 x 850 mm foundation bolts with nuts, washers, templates and all necessary accessories, the complete mast being hot-dip galvanized for corrosion protection and finished as per manufacturer's standard.The mast shall be complete with lantern carriage suitable for mounting 8 nos. LED flood light luminaires arranged symmetrically, including motorized double-drum winch, two-point suspension system, steel wire ropes of adequate size and strength, pulleys, guides, locking/safety arrangement and all associated accessories, suitable for safe raising and lowering of the complete lantern carriage for operation, inspection and maintenance. The winch system shall be complete with suitable electric motor, reduction gear, limit switches, local control arrangement and necessary electrical/control accessories, all as per OEM design.The item shall also include suitable control system/panel for operation of the high-mast lighting system, complete with necessary switchgear, protection, contactors, control wiring, manual/automatic operation arrangement and all accessories required for satisfactory operation. LED flood light luminaires shall be as specified under the relevant BOQ item, where separately provided.The work shall include providing and laying RCC foundation for the high mast, complete with excavation, PCC, reinforcement, shuttering, RCC, foundation bolts, bolt template, non-shrink grout, curing, backfilling, making good and all associated civil works, strictly in accordance with approved manufacturer's structural and foundation drawings and considering actual site/soil conditions. The high mast shall be structurally designed to withstand the applicable design wind load at site, including the weight and projected area of the complete lantern carriage and 8 nos. luminaires.The mast shall be complete in all respects with all materials, transportation, loading/unloading, fabrication, erection, alignment, testing and commissioning, electrical connections, necessary tools and tackles, and all other accessories/work required for safe and satisfactory operation, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Make: : Bajaj / Phillips /Crompton/ Utkarsh or equivalent approved make. |
