Alternator :- Standard design alternator rated at 160 KVA, net output at site after considering derating as per site conditions at 0.8 (lagging) power factor, AC, 3-phase, 4-wire, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, self-excited, self-regulated, screen protected drip-proof (SPDP), IP-23 enclosure, brushless design with windings in pole faces, insulation Class 'H' and voltage regulation within ±1% at rated voltage from no-load to full-load conditions. The alternator shall conform to BS 2613/BS 5000 and shall be capable of generating supply with frequency regulation within ±1% tolerance. The alternator shall be suitable for tropical climatic conditions and shall generally conform to BS 2613, BS 5000 and IS 4722. |
| 103 | (B) Diesel Engine: - Adquate capacity of Diesel engine as accepted by the accepting officer based on manufacturers technical details water cooled to drive independently above alternator and after considering derating as per site conditons after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories directly coupled through flexiable coupling multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per relevant ISI/BS - 5514 with an overload capacity of 10% for half an hour in 12 hours continuous running complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under:- (i) Fly wheel with housing(ii) Cooling system :- Moulded radiator with fan & belts.(iii) Cooling Water pump : - Centrifugal type belt driven.(iv) Exhaust System :- Exhaust System complete with exhaust piping of 150mm dia with MS pipe light grade upto & outside and 1meter away from the enclosure, covered with asbestos rope and aluminium foil of complete with in the enclosure for safe exhaust without transforming vibration to the wall of the enclousre.Exhaust gas turbo charger type, Exhaust manifold, Silecer : Residual type Belows :-(v) Fule System :- Fuel injection system with fuel injectors, fuel injection solenoid switch controlled by electronic governer for 1% speed /frequecy regulation.Fuel filters,Fuel hoses, (vi) Lub oil System :- Lubricating oil filter, Lubricating oil pump(vii) Air Intake System :- Air intake Manifold, Air cleanler dry type.(viii) Governer :- Electronic Governer(ix) Starting System :- Electric Self starter with maintenace free battary including battary charging alternator. |
| 104 | (C) Batteries :- Batteries of maintenece free of capacity as recommended by the manufacturer complete with copper conductor multistrnded leads of suitable length from self starter to the battary terminals complete with initial charge and initial fill of electrolyte all as specified of Make as per OEM.(D) Starter gear ring(i) Start and stop push button.(ii) Ignition key / Switch.(iii)Handling and operation : Salient features of accessories shall be as under:(iv)Radiator with blower fan.(v)Corrosion inhibitor coolant.(vi)Paper element filters for fuel, lub oil and by pass.(vii)Eelctronic governer controlled direct fuel injection system.(viii)Fly wheel housing and fly wheel.(E) Generator Monitoring Control Panel : - Comprising of all standard items as mentioned under this schedule or as per standard practice iginiton key switch and start / stop arrangement, indications for Engine parametes, hour run meter, RPM meter, Engine oil pressure indicator, water/coolent temparature indicator, Battary volt display including suitable size MCCBs and multifuction meter.(xi) Safety Controls : - Engine low lube oil pressure high water temparature and over speeding of engine.(xii) Coupling arrngement : - Flexiable coupling, fly wheel to suit flexiable coupling.(xiii) Accessories :- AVM Pads built or separtely mounted to manufactrer base frames.(xiv) Base Frame : - Made out of ISMC 250 of sturdy design made of MS channel with necessary reinforcement and predetermined holes.(xv) MS pipe line to and from the fuel tank to the DG Set. |
| 105 | (F). Civil Works :- All civil works including PCC plat form as per manufacture's design also 30 cm above the ground. The depth of the foundation and PCC as recommended by the manufacturer. (G) Rubber Matting of LV grade 19mm thick of suitable size chequred type ISI marked to be laid in front of control panel should be provided.Note:- The contractor shall arrange for artificial load for testing for final testing of DG Set at site and the cost is deemed to be including in above offer.(H) Accoustic Enclosure:- Manufactured by OEM suitable for 62.5 KVA DG Set.(i) NAL approved as per CPCB.(ii) It Should be as per latest rules and regulations of Ministry of Environment and Forest and Pollution control board.(iii) The generating set battaries and control panel should be inside the enclosure.(iv) Fuel tank should be inside the enclosure in the DG Set.(v) The accoustic should be composite in construction and fully assembled integral unit.(vi) The battaries should be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG Set on a suitable inlsulated plat form.(vii) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button.(viii) The enclosure should be suitably illuminated by suitable capacity of LED fittings.
