| 1 | Fab erection steel structure for < 1.8 mFabrication, erection, Supply, cutting, welding, of Structural Material less than 1.8 meter installation height. Material supply shall be of IS 2062 / equivalent / suitable IS grade materials. Including services for installation at site. Scope of work involves complete fabrication, erection and supply at Site / Workshop of vendor. Power supply single phase / Three phase point shall be provided by GAIL for installation works at site. Socket, Cable, safety MCB, etc for extension from power point shall be in vendors scope. Transportation of material to site is inclusive in scope of work. All equipment required for installation and shifting in vendors scope. Reputed company make materials and electrodes shall be used. Before start of work the material shall be checked visually along with the Test certificate of materials. Hot/Cold / Work at Height permit shall be applicable inside the plant. Complete Safety Kits, PPE’s Lifting tools and Tackles in Vendors scope. Consumables, O2 Cylinder, DA set, welding machines, Cutting/Grinding machine, scaffolding material shall be in vendors scope. Materials used in fabrication like channels, angles, plates, etc. in vendor’s scope. The rates quoted should include welder, Rigger, fitter, grinder, cutter, helper etc. required for execution of the job along with required material, fabrication work, transportation of material at site & installation. |

| 3 | Dismantling old structureDismantling of Old structure, from the plant with all safety as required in LPG plant. Non-sparking tools shall be used / Hot work permit shall be applicable inside the plant. All tools and tackles, person in vendor’s scope. Removed material shall be disposed in scrap yard in Dispatch Terminal Mithirohar. |
| 4 | Painting of structurePainting with one coat of inorganic zinc silicate coating of 65-75 micron DFT + 01 coat of epoxy zinc phosphate primer of 40 micron DFT + 01 coat of epoxy high build finish paint of 100 micron DFT + 01 coat of Acrylic Polyurethane paint of 40 micron DFT of approved brand of required color to give an even shade. Surface preparation shall be done by using Buffing wheel, emery paper to produce rust free and rough surface before painting. Painting shall be done by Spray/hand. Along with all the Paints, tools, painting kit, etc for completing painting job in vendors scopePaints from reputed manufacturer such as Berger Paints, Jonson & Nicholson Paint, Shalimar paint, Asian paint, equivalent as per standard specification for highly corrosive environment shall be used. |
| 5 | Supply of skilled service: welderWelder shall be skilled for plant Process piping/Fire water network/ Specialized structure welding. Welder quality test shall be done checked before starting the job by sample piece welding and visually inspected by EIC/PMC (Authorised by GAIL). Only welder up to the satisfaction of EIC shall be used. Rework shall be done in case of poor quality of weld without any additional cost. Welder shall bring his safety PPE kit along with the tools, equipment for welding. This item will be used when some specific welder requirement is generated like process pipe welding, structure welding modification job, etc. |
| 6 | Supply skilled ser: Rigger, fitter, etc.Rigger, Cutter, Fitter, Grinder shall be skilled for plant structural/pipeline Job. Rework shall be done in case of poor quality of Job without any additional cost. All person shall bring his safety PPE kit along with the tools, equipment. This item shall be used as and when required for support services as per the requirement given by EIC. |
